Modern Argumentation Theory

Interaction between Rhetoric and Dialectics in modern argumentation theory with a special emphasis on argumentation schemes, critical questions and the normative force of argumentation: Previous publications include a book length study on contemporary stasis theory and its implications for moral and legal argumentation. The main current project focuses on the development of a systematic model for the critical testing of reasonable claims (argument schemes and critical questions).
